Background
Ivan Kemble Landry was born on 10/30/1962, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to Warren Landry Jr. and Sylvia Maria Catalan Landry. He grew up with one brother, Keith, and later had two daughters, Chantelle and April. After a five-year engagement, he married Ada Pearl Fontenette on 05/05/2003.
The grandfather of seven spent 32 years working for Central Cooling and Heating with his buddy John Perro. His family recalled he was skilled in electrical and welding work, a master of many trades. Ivan preferred simple pastimes at home and enjoyed bass fishing, music, movies, and cooking his “famous gumbo” and “specialty barbecue.”
On 09/08/2012 a memorial service was held at Kinchen Funeral Home; internment location is unknown.
